7th September 2024.
An enjoyable day was had by all 12 teams entered for the ECR Over 70’s Vintage Pairs Pétanque Competition on Saturday 7th September with teams grouped into 3 groups of 4.
Following some excellent games in the morning, teams were then graded into Gold, Silver and Bronze Knockout Divisions in the afternoon.
We were pleased to welcome the Eastern Counties President, Andy Wilmot, giving his time to chat to these senior players and for his input, advice and appreciation of the new enhanced Ongar PC setting – bringing a true French ambiance to our sport and providing a perfect venue for these passionate Pétanque players.
