A lovely day in the shade of the trees at Ongar PC for the ECR Veterans competition.
An excellent day with a broad selection of players across the region with 18 teams. Thanks to Chris Parr for organising and running the event. Thanks to the club members at Ongar for their wonderful organisation and facilities on the day. Thanks to Viv for umpiring.
The Gold Winners: Mark Jones and Dean Preston from Towers Pétanque. Runners up were John Innocent and Ken Glendenning from Ongar PC. The winners of the Silver were Jonathan Sellar (Birchanger) and Vivien Middleton-Sams (Rayne Swan). Runners up were Trevor Blows (Bocking) and Ernie Botley (Birchanger). Congratulations to all. A great day enjoyed by all.
