Bird in Hand PC
The Essex Petanque Winter League starts on Sunday 30th Oct and the newly formed Bird in
Hand PC at Earls Colne will be taking part for the first time.
The club held an invitation event to introduce
the venue to other local players and enable them to have a go on their somewhat difficult piste.
Players from
Chequers (Gt Tey), Bocking, Rayne Swan and Onley (Stisted) enjoyed the mornings play with Frank Britt (Chequers)
and Ian Ruffle (Bocking) finishing in the top two places.
