The Eastern Region Doubles took place on Sunday 26th August and with 10 teams taking part it was a good days play in lovely weather.
After the mornings group sessions the 4 teams who progressed to the semi finals were Simon Bird & Lorne Gibson who faced Bill Eve & Vince Schofield.
The second semi saw last year's runners-up Dean Little & Keith Flack take on Ian Groves & Jon Sellars from Thorley.
Bird & Gibson moved comfortably in to the final from their semi but Groves & Sellars played well to make Little & Flack work hard for their right to meet them there.
The final saw Little & Flack go one better than last year and become the Eastern Region Doubles champions of 2007, congratulations.
