Bocking Petanque Club held their second annual Easter Monday Competition which was generously sponsored by Daniel Robinson and Sons.
On a cold but thankfully dry day, a number of teams were competing to get their hands (or jaws) on some delicious Easter eggs.
First prize went for the second year running to the Onley Arms from Stisted, who won all their six games.
In second place were Thorley 1 from Bishop’s Stortford.
10yr old Sam Newman and his team of Colin and Viv Sams finished 3rd.
The day was enjoyed by all who took part and the hot bacon and sausage rolls were very much appreciated.
