Congratulations to Chequers Black on winning the League Play-Off battle against Rayne Swan 4. Second Division runners-up Chequers played well with John Perfect, Simon Robinson and Paul Brown winning the triples 13-4 with good shooting by Brown when it mattered. Courtney and Sams just couldn't get going in the doubles against father & son pairing Paul & Jack Brown. Good pointing by the Browns saw them to a 13-3 win. Tom Smith took a good lead in the singles until Perfect found his range and caught up to win 13-10. The better team won and good luck to them in the First Division next year.
